Its been a while hasn’t it?

I noticed I haven’t posted things since May. Since then I’ve been able to polish my blotting skills and have a clearer way of putting my thoughts down.

So I will be posting things more often. And to not be a liar, there will be a post later on today.

So happy stylin’ to the person reading this and I will see you later.

Bags

Bags for men. Something that has been popping up recently on the fashion/style scene. And quite frankly I am very happy about that. Europe has probably been using bags for men for a LONG TIME. But here in the states, men didn’t really use them because they said it was for girls. But, butt, I’ve always hated and still hate putting things in my pockets. I hate it that something like a wallet or pair of keys can ruin a perfectly good silhouette. So whenever going out for a long period of time I would just take my Kelty Pack utility bag ( I couldn’t find a picture, but don’t worry it’s a nice bag 😀 ) So I thought that since I’m on the subject of men’s bags (women could use them as well).

So to keep this short I will do my best to show 3 bags that are completely different. Trying to be diverse.

Mini Messenger Bag With Buckle

So for the 1st bag is Zaras’ mini messenger bag with a buckle. Messenger bags are really great for when you are on the go and don’t have that much to carry. And seeing how subtle this bag is it doesn’t really beg for attention like a women’s purse would. It’s just neat to carry your wallet, keys, gum, cell phone or anything else.  $69.99

Filson Red Label Zippered Tote Bag

This Filson Red Label Tote bag is another bag I’ve seen many men using lately. Now I don’t personally know what they are carrying in those bags, but I am just going to guess their laptop, a notebook, tablet, and a dog. Tote bags are really nice bags to carry out when you are definitively sure that you will be out the whole day. Or maybe even grocery shopping, you know, quit using plastic. I’ve always imagined myself taking it mainly for a pick nick or to the beach or if for some very strange reason I know I would have to change my clothes. All in all another great bag. I’ve seen these types of bags in Zara, H&M, and Urban Outfitters.

Brothers Bray & Co Rucksack

Now for the 3rd one is the backpack. Or in this case the Rucksack. I have always wanted these bags and if it isn’t for the one I have right now I would’ve totally have gotten this one (the other one was 4 dollars cheaper :P). Although first used in the military ( I think :/) these bags have come to the style scene with their own unique characteristics. I remember when I was in middle school using the basic backpack I got really bored of it. If I only had something like this. Anyways, with it’s little pockets and many variations of it, you just can’t go wrong with a bag like this. Many places sell them, but one place that I know that always has them is Urban Outfitters.

Bloggin involves work, who knew :D also UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Well that title is obvious. It does involve work. And seeing that I haven’t posted anything in a while I just wanted to show you my little work station. It’s not much but it does the job well. Sometimes I don’t even work there or on that laptop. I just borrow another laptop. But mostly everything is done there.

Usually, an organized blogger would show their desk and one by one show a individual picture of what’s on there. But, I don’t have that time right now. Also there is some work being done at home so I can’t really show you how my desk will be until the work is done. But, as what you can see right now, there is a lamp, pokemon, string fabric, book, water canteen, my mannequin  named Bob or TBD with his needle mask on. Also my tiny mouse. Why post this now? At the moment things are scrambling everywhere so I haven’t been able to organize myself. When things are done (hopefully tomorrow) I will go back to planning and writing down ideas to post new things. So thanks for reading, and buh bye!

Also, Bulbasaur and Venasaur wanted to say goodbye.

Grunge style for our ages:

The 90s grunge era was unique in it’s own. It tore completely apart from the glam and pasty colors of the 80s and took it’s ideas from the underground part of the 70s. Glam rock had gone to the new Seattle scene where grunge was introduced. Many people dawned dark colors and plaid. Women began to care less of their appearance to even cut off all of their hair. Teens wanted to identify themselves and let the adults of the time know it. Men cared less of how they looked with their loose shirts and raggedy pants. And clothes were the same for women, although many dressed also in tight and really high cut clothes. And there are many more things to say about this.  Why mention these things? It is making a comeback for this fall/ winter style. The spring/ summer trend of the hipster made it a great way to re-introduce the grunge style. But, obviously not a carbon copy. New cuts since then have been introduced to use and colors, shapes, and basically a new way to look at it.

Usually one posts pictures of brands or stores that might carry this particular inspired look. But, I believe that sometimes you can look for old clothes on your closet that are dark colors or loose fitting. Or usually the best solution is to go to a thrift, vintage store. Or maybe your older relatives can have stuff that can inspire the look.

If you want a look at how it can be interpreted for now check out the collection from Aluzarra F/W 11

It’s been a while

Although this is just a second post I realise that I haven’t posted nothing more than 1 post. But as a reminder to myself I haven’t forgotten this exists. Just jotting down ideas as to what I plan is to come. So before I run out of battery I will post things here asap. Just let me get organised and get what I find interesting in the realm of style on here.

Ciao tutti 🙂

Hello world!

What I mainly hope to achieve with this blog is to post about style and fashion. I live  in a giant city filled with a variety of people that dress uniquely. I want to be consistent, but also something that won’t bore me as I type. So hope to start properly tomorrow.
